I feel so fortunate to have found Olga! I want to keep as fit as possible within my physical limitations. Olga shows a deep and caring understanding of individual needs and gives very well considered advice. She applies her diverse knowledge of not only Pilates but also Yoga and Qigong in making her classes more interesting. The warmth and care that she shows is an additional bonus! I have problems with the disks in my lower back and wanted to do some Pilates to aid my movement and ease pain in the long term. The classes at Intelligent Pilates are well structured and have involved various pieces of equipment, and Olga understands my issues and constantly monitors how I am getting on. The number of flare ups have reduced since I started, which is my key measure of success. Olga is very experienced and attentive to [her clients] physical and psychological well-being. I have always suffered from back pain and I had great benefits from Pilates classes at her perfectly equipped studio. I attend the Yoga, Pilates and Qigong online classes with the same level of benefits and satisfaction. I have experienced lower back and hip pain over a number of years. Intelligent Pilates has been brilliant for me. Before I attended the classes I would have been nervous of certain movements and would try and minimise some actions to avoid further injury, whereas I now know what I need to do to not only relieve the symptoms but improve my mobility for long term health. I particularly enjoy the variety of classes each week and the excellent choices of equipment available. The studio is scrupulously clean and a great environment to relax and focus on Pilates. During Covid, Olga has adapted her studio and procedures so that there no more than three people, we have our own personal bag of equipment and the room is aired – so I feel really safe. Olga always checks how we are, remembers past injuries that we need to be careful with and adapts her teaching accordingly. I really look forward to my Pilates every week. Since major surgery 3 years ago, it has been my goal to strengthen my core and restore damaged muscles and Intelligent Pilates has been amazing for this. I can now do things I thought would not be possible post-op. At first, the classes I attended were mainly Pilates mat work. However, over the years Olga has introduced other elements and equipment, which have made things more varied and interesting. At each stage, I think that the current class is the one I like best and at present, I am really enjoying online classes. |
